Monitoring of Facility Alarms In One Of Four FPS "MegaCenters"
Project Description:
RMC provides continuous monitoring of facility alarms in one of four Federal Protective Service (FPS) “MegaCenters,” a remote dispatch control center. This protection support includes public demonstrations, special events, including Presidential inaugurations and sporting events, such as the Olympic Games, the Kentucky Derby and most recently, the September 11th terrorist trials.
RMC provides local area network (LAN) hardware and software administration for the “Security Information Systems” (SIS) run by the DHS Denver MegaCenter. This facility monitors intrusion, fire detection, and access control systems in GSA-managed buildings in 19 western states. RMC’s main tasks for the Denver MegaCenter include customer support / help desk, database administration, and application development / programming. RMC’s main tasks for the Denver MegaCenter include:
Customer Support / Help Desk – RMC provides help desk support and technical solutions for technicians and federal building managers in 19 western states for problems dealing with computerized alarm systems and access control.
Database Administration - RMC performs database administration on the SQL and Access databases. RMC inputs and tracks all SIS data to ensure integrity, consistency, and efficiency.
Application Development / Programming – RMC programmers perform remote programming and trouble shooting on computer systems. RMC computer analysts program Ademco, Radionics, and Digital Monitoring Products alarm panels with the remote database management computer system.
