Richard Valdez founded RMC Consultants in 1990.
|
|
Since that time, he has leveraged his leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise to expand the company's offerings to include Environmental Services, Cultural Resources, Security Services, and Facilities Management.
|
Under his leadership, RMC was named to the Colorado Biz Magazine's top 50 Minority Businesses (#24) in Colorado for 2005, and top 250 Businesses (#181) in Colorado for 2006.

Since 2004, Rich has focused his efforts on serving the Homeland Security sector, acquiring support contracts to the DHS, Federal Protective Service, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.
|
This work includes purchasing and procurement support, security adjudication for federal building access, information technology including internet monitoring of automated security systems in regional federal buildings, and transcription support.
Rich has worked in the environmental industry since 1987 in program and project management for CERCLA and RCRA investigations for the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Interior, Department of Agriculture, and private industries.
Rich is a Certified Environmental Specialist and Professional Geologist. He holds a B.S. in Geology and Geochemistry, and is completing an MBA at Regis University.
A native Coloradan, Rich is passionate about giving back to the community and actively supports a number of local non-profit organizations supporting the arts and education, including the Daniels Foundation, a College Prep and Scholarship Fund.
